SHE LEFT HIM IN THE CAR
On April 20, 2018 Paula arrived at work and forgot Parker in the car where he was found by daycare staff approximately 25 minutes later. When I arrived that morning to pick Parker up at daycare, Paula was curiously still there with him in the gymnasium. Neither Paula or daycare staff said anything to me about Parker being left in the car. Paula called me later on to let me know what happened and I should expect a call from DHS. When I spoke to the lady assigned to the case, I told her that I accepted Paula's story that it was an accident despite the fact it might have been in my best interest to use the incident against her. What is interesting is that Paula spoke to the lady before me and used the opportunity to express her "concerns" about the pets at my home and my mother's smoking. So, she leaves Parker in the car and for her it becomes about the same phony concerns she only ever brought up when it was convenient to use them against me. Otherwise, there was no such issues when she was forfeiting 3-4 overnights per month for her own purposes and having my mom watch Parker most of those nights while I worked.
This is more insight into Paula's character. She makes a mistake which had the potential to turn out very bad, I give her the benefit of the doubt, but she uses the opportunity to attack me over matters that are irrelevant to why DHS is involved here and irrelevant to her when she had plans for herself.
